Error description

  • Issues addressed:
    1. Scrub of IMS x'9904' record could overlay data.
    2. Incorrect tracking set sometimes returned for IMS/IMS Connect
       Extensions combined tracking with persistent sockets.
    3. The DOCLOGDC field could be overwritten in the IMS x'20/21'
       Knowledge Module.
    4. Updates are required to some Knowledge Modules as a result
       of IMS service updates and to improve readability.
    5. The DBCALL values displayed for the IMS x'5937/38' Knowledge
       Module could be incorrect.

Problem conclusion

  • 1. Corrected the scrubbing of IMS x'9904' record where actual
       data length did not match length specified in the record.
       In that case the record suffix could be partially
       overwritten.
    
    2. In some circumstances combined IMS/IMS Connect Extensions
       tracking returned records from the preceding transaction
       on the same socket because the start record was not correctly
       established.
    
    3. Correct handling of DOCLOGDC field for IMS x'20/21' KM.
    
    4. Updates are required to some Knowledge Modules as a result of
       IMS service up to PUT1808, also improvements to formatting
       for readability.
    
    5. The Global values displayed in the expanded Browse area for
       the IMS x'5937/38' KM could contain incorrect values where
       where individual field counts were >32767.
