PH01964: DB2 ADMIN TOOL - MODULE ADB2CMP, GOCC034E - PROGRAM GOC2CMP DETECTED AN ONCODE CONDITION 8094

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After installing some maintenance, Module ADB2CMP, GOCC034E -
  Program GOC2CMP detected an ONCODE condition 8094 (Object
  Compare) - if STEPLIB is APF authorized. There was no
  requirement to have STEPLIB APF authorized.
  

Local fix

• Remove the APF authorization from SADBLLIB and SGOCLLIB. If just
  one library on steplib is unauthorized the entire STEPLIB is
  UNAUTHORIZED.

  Compare abends S0C4-04 if all libraries on STEPLIB are APF
  authorized because ADB2CMP is marked re-entrant but is not
  truly re-entrant.
  
  There is no need to APF authorize AOC libs SADBLLIB and
  SGOCLLIB. With this fix, they can be and calls to ADB2CMP
  and GOC2CMP will not cause an error.
  
  Note: AOC APF authorized load modules are placed in SADBLINK.

Problem conclusion

• Problem has been resolved.
