OW50083: MANAGED OBJECT VIEW DOESN'T REFRESH PROPERLY IF AN OBJECT CHANGES THE STATUS

APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• TBSM MANAGED OBJECT VIEW DOESN'T REFRESH PROPERLY WHEN
  AN OBJECT CHANGES THE STATUS.
  PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPRODUCED BY FOLLOWING THE STEPS BELOW:
  -Select a resource (i.e a STC resource) from a BUSC hierarchy
  -Access the Managed Object View associated to the selected
   Object
  -Push the "REFRESH" buttom to fill in the Managed Object View
   with the Object
   ----->Object is displayed with the correct status
  -Cause a condition to make the Object to change the status
  ERROR:
  The Object is displayed with its original status and it's
  not updatede with the new status as it should occurs.
  BYPASSES
  There are at least to valid bypasses to circumvent the problem:
  -Push the REFRESH buttom again
   ---------->Object will be displayed with the correct status
  -Minimize the View (without closing it) and then maximize it
   again
  ----------->Object will be displayed with the correct status
  

Local fix

• Following two bypasses are applicable to bypass the problem:
  -Push the REFRESH bottom from the Managed Object View
  -Minimize and then maximize the Managed Object View

• Product is working as designed. Requested
