PI22072: PANEL ADBPZAT ENABLE ACCELERATION OPTION CAUSES TSO SESSION TO HANG

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Users tries to ENable acceleration on a given table, that's
  already been added to the accelerator via some other method,
  from the ADBPZAT panel of the Admin Tool. The userid hangs.
  The only way to get the userid un-hung is to cancel it and
  log back on.
  

Local fix

• Removing the table from the accelerator using the IDAA GUI
  tool, user can go back to the Admin Tool and use  the ADDA
  option to re-add, load and enable it successfully on the
  subsystem where the problem was.  Then able to DIable/Enable
  acceleration from the ADBPZAT panel.

  *                      already been added and loaded to the    *
  *                      accelerator via some other method,      *
  *                      the users TSO session hangs.  The       *
  *                      only way to release the users TSO       *
  *                      session is to cancel it and log         *
  *                      back on.                                *

  Program does not detect whether a table has already been
  loaded into the accelerator outside of the DB2 Admin Tool.

• Problem has been resolved.
