Error using a Lookup function in a Procedure Node

Troubleshooting


Problem

Invoking a Lookup statement using a WHERE clause returns an error. The same SQL works outside of DecisionStream/Data Manager.

Symptom

DS-DBMS-E400: UDA driver reported the following on connection '<connection name>':
UDA-SQL-0115 Inappropriate SQL request.
UDA-SQL-0564 [Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server]Deferred prepare could not be completed.
UDA-SQL-0564 [Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server]Statement(s) could not be prepared. (SQLSTATE=42000, SQLERRORCODE=8180)
UDA-SQL-0564 [Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server]Invalid column name '<n>'. (SQLSTATE=42S22, SQLERRORCODE=207)

where <n> is not a column name, but the value specified in the WHERE clause.
