APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Loginfo report processor uses the same storage
  handler/queueing mechanism as the IMS PA V4 Transit Engine. In
  an environment where storage is constrained and High Watermark
  processing is invoked all active queues for the Loginfo routine
  are terminated. An aggregate queue is created during program
  initalization, which is not re-created after the HWM processing
  resulting in the invalid storage address and S0C4 abend.
  The ABEND0C4 occurs during execution of a ST R4,X'84'(,R8)
  instruction because R8 contains 00000000 (zero zeroes).

Problem conclusion

• The Loginfo report processor has been re-written to remove
  the external storage handler, all storage requests and
  queueing will be handed directly. In the event of a
  GETMAIN failure the Loginfo report will not be produced
  and all future calls to the Loginfo processor will be
  discarded. A new warning message IPI0340W will be issued in
  the event of such an error and the IMS PA job will return an
  RC=4 at the end of the job:
  'IPI0340W Loginfo report processing abandoned, increase
   REGION parameter and re-run'
