  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: By this APAR, the new function of       *
  *                      DBD/PSB/ACB Compare utility is provided *
  *                      to generate source level compare        *
  *                      reports in the SYSPRINT data set even   *
  *                      when no difference is found by          *
  *                      specifying a existing parameter SOURCE  *
  *                      and a new parameter NODIFF on the       *
  *                      REPORT statement.                       *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  This APAR provides the new function of DBD/PSB/ACB Compare
  utility which generates source level compare reports in the
  SYSPRINT data set even when no difference is found.
  
  Report field "NUMBER OF DIFFERENCE STATEMENTS" in source level
  compare reports shows the summary information about the
  statement with the number of "INSERTED", "DELETED" and
  "CHANGED". If no difference is found, these values are all zero.
  Also no characters are reported in "CHK" field.
  
  To use this function, specify a existing parameter SOURCE and a
  new parameter NODIFF on the REPORT statement.
  NODIFF parameter is effective only when the SOURCE parameter is
  specified on the REPORT statement.
  
  If no difference is found and NODIFF parameter is not specified,
  the compare report is not created, and only activity messages
  are produced as same as before.
