PI17764: MESSAGE HAAB074E (UNDERLYING VSAM FILE NOT FOUND) IN BUILD JOB

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Error message HAAB074E (Underlying VSAM file not found) can
  occur in an Automation Tool build job if a non-partitioned
  object is altered to a partitioned object.  This error only
  occurs if the non-partitioned object is explicitly named (not
  part of a wildcard) in the Object Profile.  In this case the
  object is specified as PART=0.  If the object is subsequently
  altered and reorged to a partitioned object, the PART=0
  specification is no longer valid and can will produce the
  HAAB074E message.

  This APAR will cause the Automation Tool build to produce a new
  error message warning that a non-partitioned object was
  specified but a partition object was found.  The message will
  direct the customer to update the Object Profile.
  

Local fix

• Remove the object from the Object Profile and then re-add the
  object.
