Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z - RDz - V9.0.1.2

Once upgraded to RDz 9.0.x, the Perspectives setup of the
Eclipse
preferences are no longer pushed to the client.

Re-creation steps:
. modify the z/OS Projects by adding a view and resize it,
. save it as either as a new Perspective, or overwrite the
existing
. export it to the server,
. restart RDz with a clean workspace, and get the settings
pushed.

Performing the "Reset Perspective" action won't bring up the
z/OS Projects perspective you just exported.
