Error description

  • Data transformation map (data format -->EDI 870) is reporting
TR0052 error "mandatory segment missing" for the LQ segment in
the LM loop. The LM loop is optional and unmapped. Error in
prtfile:

Message: TR0052 Severity: 08
       Mandatory segment missing.  Internal Trading Partner ID
and Data Format = SENDTP/RECVTP, X12V4R1870.  Transaction
handle,        code, mode, and function = output validation.
Interchange, group and transaction control numbers = (not
assigned).
Current Loop-ID and repetitions = &1HL - 1.  Standard
segment and field ID = LQ(017) - 9 - 1 - EOS - (1, 0).

Problem summary


    

  • Data transformation map (data format -->EDI 870) is reporting
TR0052 error "mandatory segment missing" for the LQ segment in
the LM loop.  The LM loop is optional and unmapped.  Outbound
EDI validation for Data Transformation may flag mandatory
segments that follow an starting, optional segment as missing
when
these constructs exist within an HL transaction set.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The condision prefenting the mandatory missing error is now
correct.
