Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
Using the DGA#CFG2 REXX exec (a tool for initially installing
C:D) in Connect:Direct for z?OS 5.2, the attempt to build the
Secure+ PARMFILE and Access File by running the generated
DGAJBLDS JCL results in "CSPN107E TOOLKIT ERROR:
CSPA081E:0008/1302".

Local fix

  • LOCAL FIX:
STRRTC - 418522

Circumvention:

Start up Connect:Direct without Secure>DSN initialization
parameter, then go into the IUI, and go into the Secure+ Admin
tool. The Secure+ PARMFILE can be created either manually (that
is, one node at a time) or by pulling in the current NETMAP.

Problem summary

  • Program DGASBLDS to build sample PARMFILE during install was
overlooked and still contains logic for Certicom toolkit calls.
These need to be converted to IBM toolkit calls.

Problem conclusion

  • 



Temporary fix


    

  • Do not run the DGAJBLDS job during install.
