APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PRF 2.2 "B" usermods contain errors, and fail when attempting to
    apply.
As an example, apply of IMS PRF V22 usermod IRT121B results in:
    GIM23901E ** LINK-EDIT PROCESSING FOR SYSMOD IRT121B FAILED ...
THE RETURN CODE (12) EXCEEDED THE ALLOWABLE VALUE.
    keywords: MSGGIM23901E RC12

Local fix

  • This optional usermod is not required when executing the install
verification program, so customers can continue to perform
installation of this release without this correcting APAR. You
can also circumvent this problem by copying the SIRTLOAD library
    into the IMS RESLIB.
