Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' CMBATCH Analyze generates
  more REBIND statements than customers expect.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When users specify 'Yes' for the 'Run   *
  *                      REBIND' field on panels ADBPALT         *
  *                      'ALTER - Build Analyze and Apply        *
  *                      Job' and GOC5 'Generate Compare         *
  *                      Jobs' when using the ALT function,      *
  *                      the Compare function, or the CM         *
  *                      Batch interface, rebind statements      *
  *                      are generated for all packages, but     *
  *                      can not be generated only for packages  *
  *                      that are invalidated.                   *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  Users cannot specify a value for 'Run REBIND' when using ALT
  function, Compare function or the CM Batch interface, allowing
  them to only rebind invalidated packages, not all packages.

  M Mandatory. Generate REBIND utility statements only for
  packages and plans invalidated by the change.
  A All relevant. Generates REBIND statements for all
  packages and plans affected by the change.
  N None. Does not generate REBIND utility statements.
