PI10115: MESSAGE "EQQN048W IDCAMS REPRO UTILITY FAILED TO COPY FROM EQQCP2DS TO EQQOCPBK" IS ISSUED DURING CP EXTEND JOB EXECUTION

Error description

• A current plan extend job (pgm: EQQDNTOP) with the parameter:
  BATCHOPT JRUNHISTORY()
  set to YES got the message:

  This problem occurs only if the REPRO is invoked within
  EQQBATCH EQQDNTOP ** BUT **  With a native IDCAMS REPRO in a
  separate
  job, the problem doesn't occur.
  The problem occurs because TWSz opens the dataset in LSR mode
  and is
  then invoking REPRO. Since REPRO functions with NSR, it doesn't
  expect
  for positioning to already be established which TWSz must have
  done
  prior to invoking REPRO.
  This APAR has been opened to address this issue

Problem conclusion

• Problem was caused by the fact that during the IDCAMS repro,
  the old current plan is open in LSR mode.
  A close of the Old current plan VSAM data set has been
  added just before running the IDCAMS REPRO and a re-open
  has been added when the REPRO is completed.
