PI45407: MESSAGE 'DB2 xxxx OR Z/OS NAME xxxx INVALID' WHEN NAVIGATING TO 'SUBSYSTEM MANAGEMENT' IN E3270 UI OR USING COMMAND =KDPSUBSM

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer when navigating to 'Subsystem Management' from DB2 in
  E3270 UI, panel KDPSUBSM receiving invalid error. This Selection
  error, 'DB2 DS41 or z/OS name TSYS invalid'
  .
  Entering command =KDPSUBSM also bring the same error.
  

Local fix

• 1) open KDPNAV2 member in **.RKANEXEC dataset
  2) find row:
  "if newsmfid = oldsmfid and newssid = oldssid then return 0 "
  
  3) change 'and' to '&'
  "if newsmfid = oldsmfid & newssid = oldssid then return 0 "
  
  4) save the changes
  5) relogon to E3270UI
