I am receiving DXL errors when attempting to start a DOORS session from within TAU.
Answer
The particular DXL error which may be encountered will display as follows:
-E- DXL: <Line:1> incorrectly concatenated tokens
-E- DXL: <Line:1> undeclared variable (tau_fnIsDXLInitialized)
-I- DXL: all done with 2 errors and 0 warnings
-E- DXL: <Line:1> incorrectly concatenated tokens
-E- DXL: <Line:1> undeclared variable (tau_fnIsDXLInitialized)
-I- DXL: all done with 2 errors and 0 warnings
-E- DXL: <Line:1> incorrectly concatenated tokens
-E- DXL: <Line:1> undeclared variable (tau_fnIsDXLInitialized)

The above usually occurs when there is a possible discrepancy between your current DOORS installation and any earlier installations or due to the order of installation.
If the DXL error above is encountered, you can over come this by following the installation sequence noted below:
- Install the DOORS server and client
- Apply DOORS patches; if any
- Install Tau 3.1
- Install the DOORS-Tau integration
Next, open TAU and launch DOORS from within TAU. The DXL script errors should no longer be encountered.
