PI36872: *.XLSM FILES PROVIDED WITH FIX PACK 2 OF TM1 10.2.2 CAN NOT BE OPENED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When opening Cognos TM1 Perspectives the customer sees the
  following messages:
  * Microsoft Excel Security Notice > Microsoft Office has
  identified a potential security concern
  *.xlsm Files provided with fix pack 2 of TM1 10.2.2 can not be
  opened because the scurity question can not be confirmed due to
  the extensive and complex VBA code in the (sample) workbooks.
  
  Reprosteps:
  TM1 on Excel 2007 (Office 2007) pops up "Security Warning"
  unless Macros is digitally signed.
  If customer does not want to see the security warning everytime
  he opens an Excel spreadsheet,
  he would have to select "Enable all macro (not recommended;
  potentially dangerious code can run)"
  but he would rather select the option "Disable all macro Except
  digitally signed macros".
  If macros would be signed, he'd be able to select "Disable all
  macro Except digitally signed macros".

Local fix

• Impact:
  Fix Pack 2 TM1 10.2.2 can not be implemented
  
  Solution requested:
  HUK COBURG needs a HSF for "PMR 32653,077,724 - Unsigned
  Excel-Files"
  If the author of the macro is trusted by certificate, this
  message should no longer appear.
  
  Additonal Information:
  Problems opening Cognos TM1 Perspectives require configuration
  for new certificate
