  • In DB2 Administration Tool, when Imagecopy is performed on
a TAPE device, BR command on panel ADB21I, states INVALID
COMMAND, instead of media not supported in BR mode.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The ADB200  "Invalid line cmd" message  *
*                      issued on panel ADB21I when BR command  *
*                      issued against image copy on tape.      *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
Error  message  ADB200 is issued  when user  issues the BR line
command against an image copy data set stored on a tape device.
A  more informative error  message is desired  to indicate that
BR is  not allowed against  image copy data sets stored on tape
devices.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A new message ADB334E has been created, which is more
descriptive of the problem.
