This technote provides you with information about IBM® Rational® Portfolio Manager and the use of space characters in RPM's login password.
Cause
The space character set in the beginning or end of password will lead to unsuccessful login.
Answer
Using a space character at the beginning or end of a password will lead to unsuccessful login. Space characters can be used in the middle of a password, however, space characters cannot be set at the beginning or end of password.
