APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Deploying a war file, it will add an entry in the Integrated
  Solutions Console navigation tree. After deployment when
  an entry is selected, portlet rendered as expected.
  IllegalStateException occurs when selected by any link with in
  the portlet.
  

Local fix

• 1. Add javax.protlet to import-package in manifest.mf.
  2. Run osgiCfgIni.bat in <ewas-root>/bin
  
  This will enables WebSphere Application Server to pick up
  mainfest.mf changes at runtime.

  The WebContainer library fails to import javax.portlet. As a
  result when JSF, which is internal to the WebContainer
  library, attempts to access javax.portlet it fails with the

Problem conclusion

• The WebContainer library has been updated to import
  javax.portlet.
