PK59938: USABILITY ISSUES AND PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS IN CLASSIC PANEL ZALLTAND TEP WORKSPACE THREAD ACTIVITY. 08/02/11 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• UK31434 introduced a change to the collector logic for VTAM
  classic (panel ZALLT) and Tivoli Enterprise Portal data
  collection that caused threads in Identify/Signon status to be
  displayed along with active threads having an empty plan name.
  This APAR will change the behavior introduced by UK31434 such as
  the threads in Identify/Signon status will not be displayed in
  ZALLT / TEP anymore.
  Along with filtering threads in Identify/Signon also threads
  with a CONNID equal to "DISCONN" will not be shown in ZALLT/TEP
  anymore.
  This change will improve the usability and performance of both
  Classic and TEP interfaces.
  
  The solution for PK60439 is included in this fix.
