PK58251: BATCH JOB ABEND0C4 IN CSLSPC00 FOR REXXSPOC

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When Batch Job executes multiple type-2 commands through a
  user REXXSPOC program. The batch job encounters ABEND0C4 in
  "COPY BACK" because of an invalid R15.  The PSW points to
  label RRLCSTSL in CSLSPC00 after the PC call from CSLSRQ40.
  .
  In this particular case, customer modified their REXXSPOC
  program. So the next type-2 command issued without a wait of
  the previous commands complete and returned.
  When the abend 0C4 happened, the following return code and
  reason code also appeared in the joblog,
   rc=16777232 imsrc=01000010X reason=0000401CX
   The calling member is in the process of deregistering from SCI
  .

  Freeing of control blocks was done before deregistering from
  the IMSplex.  There is a brief interval where a command
  response may be received but the storage is no longer usable.
