Error description

  • In IBM Rational Software Modeler/Architect v7.0.0.3 ? v7.0.0.4,
despite the selection of the Rectilinear setting, control flows
will appear diagonal on an activity diagram.
The following steps reproduce the problem:
1. Create a UML Project and UML model
2. Go to Window?Preferences...?Modeling?Diagrams?Activity Diagra
m and make sure Edge

  • Moving line segments of a rectilinear connection results in
various line segments of the connection jumping around in a
random fashion.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fixed in Release RSx 7.5. Reworked rectilinear routing and
editing of a rectilinear connection
