APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB21TSE 'Build SQL SELECT
  Prototype' does not support lowercase variable so a string
   'a' is folded to an uppercase 'A' resulting in SQLCODE100 if
  the column value is a lowercase 'a'.
  
  The INS syntax may also be missing the closing right
  ).
  

Local fix

• Use the EDIT function then the CAPS OFF command to amend the SQL
  

Problem summary

  Mixed case support was not yet added for SELECT and INSERT
  prototyping, and for Default Value field on ADB26CTU. With the
  Capitalize Data parameter set to NO, the data was still folded
  to uppercase.
  

Problem conclusion

• This fix is for DB2 Admin Tool Version 720 and higher only.
  The above-mentioned panels or fields now support mixed data, In
  addition, several problems related to entering multiple blanks
  around tokens entered on panels ADB21TSE and ADB21TIN are now
  fixed.
