Problem
IBM® Rational Rose® Version Control add-in supports SCC-compliant configuration management tools. PVCS v7.5 is SCC-compliant, but Rose may still error when configuring the integration and as a result you will not be able to work with Rose and PVCS.
Symptom
Attempts to integrate Rational Rose with PVCS results in the following error message when you select Tools > Version Control > Start Version Control Explorer:
Note: This error will occur even though the Registry key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]\Software\SourceCodeControlProvider\ProviderRegKey is correctly set to Software\PVCS\Interfaces\SCC,
