Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool, when using Object Compare and
  trying to compare identical views, 1 view created with
  leading spaces, Object Compare finds a difference on the
  space and drops & recreates the view.

  *                 tables  having  a  large  number  of the     *
  *                 partitions  and  DB2 utilities  LOAD and     *
  *                 UNLOAD. Catalog information must be used     *
  *                 for target.                                  *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users  are  not notified  until after   *
  *                      the UNLOADing and attempting to  LOAD   *
  *                      this table.  By capturing the maximum   *
  *                      number of utility partitions that DB2   *
  *                      will allow, the users can be notified   *
  *                      earlier before  expensive  processing   *
  *                      takes place.                            *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

  GOC2CMP was changed to extract the customer established value
  for  partition processing from the version file of the target
  system  and make it available  in the GOC communication area.
  GOC2CMF was changed to use this value for utility processing.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed in Object Compare Ver 7.2.
