    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Length problem for Telex with imbedded *
    *                      SWIFT message.                          *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When a telex with imbedded SWIFT message is sent or received,
    the length of the imbedded SWIFT message is no longer checked if
    the telex message is mapped as telex message containing a SWIFT
    message. This mapping takes place when FORMAT=(KCOV,W), which is
    the default for the sending side, or FORMAT=(TCOV,W) is
    specified in the DSLKPROC send or receive process. If the telex
    message is mapped as SWIFT message, the length of the SWIFT
    message continues to be checked. This mapping takes place when
    FORMAT=(0COV,W) is specified in the DSLKPROC send process. On
    the receiving side, the FORMAT parameter can be omitted from the
    DSLKPROC receive process to map the SWIFT message.

Problem conclusion

  • This behavior has been corrected.
