Error description

  • Starting the RMIServer in multi-process mode on AIX produces the
    following error message, and the process is terminated.

Local fix

  • Add the following statement to rmiserver.properties file:
    
    server.resource.registry=
    

Problem summary

  • Based on note from support, an update to the
    rmiserver.properties file was needed, particularly
    "server.resource.registry=".
