APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The problem is that the startServer code when getting the
  NET_Bind error continues processing and launches the JVM for
  the actual server. For some reason,the server actually starts
  and the customer is left in  the dark on what is happening.

  While attempting to start server you get the following error.
  
  ADMU3012E: Exception attempting to get free port for status
  socket Address
             already in use: NET_Bind
  ADMU0111E: Program exiting with error:
  java.lang.NullPointerException
  ADMU0211I: Error details may be seen in the file:
             C:\Users\svtblade61\IBM\WebSphere\profiles\Custom03
  \logs\nodeagent\startServer.log
  
  The problem is that the startServer code when getting the
  NET_Bind error continues processing and launches the JVM for
  the actual server.
  

Problem conclusion

• Checked for statusport null and if so we are printing a
  debug statement.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
  in fixpack 6.1.0.13.
