Error description

• On Sybase, certain complex queries involving columns of type
  Double will result in the following database error:
  com.sybase.jdbc3.jdbc.SybSQLException: FOR UPDATE can not be use
  d in a SELECT which is not part of the declaration of a cursor o
  r which is not inside a stored procedure.

  When using the JDBC Mediator with Sybase, some complex queries
  involving multiple tables and a column of type "double
  precision" will be generated incorrectly. This will result in
  an exception being thrown when you attempt to retrieve a
  datagraph from the mediator.
  

Problem conclusion

• Query generation for Sybase has been fixed to correctly handle
  double precision columns.
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
  in fixpack 6.1.0.11.
