PK47347: SEEING THE 32 DIGITS ATTRIBUTES ID IN WBS ELEMENTS WITH ATTRIBUT ES PIVOT WHEN USING A LOCAL PIVOT LAYOUT AGAINST PROJECTS

Error description

• 1. Use the attached the layout setting (The one called "APM
  Selection Report 3") to run the WBS Elements with Attributes
  Pivot against projects.
  2. The layout only displays the attribute bands with 32 digits
  attributes IDs.
  3. If a user saves a local layout for the WBS Elements with
  Attributes Pivot against a particular project, the layout
  setting is not necessarily applicable for other projects because
  they may not have the same attributes assigned. Therefore, the
  user will see the layout only displays the attribute bands, the
  headers are not pulled in but the pivot shouldn't display 32
  digits attributes IDs.

  Attributes Pivot when Using a local pivot layout against
  projects
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem solved.
  User can save layout with Attribute columns.
  We have one band for all Single attributes and many bands
  for Multi attributes.
  Example: User saves layout with Single Attribute band that
  contains 2 different attributes
  If user runs this particular layout on Project that DOESN'T
  have one of the single attribute, column for this attribute
  WILL NOT appear in the pivot.
  If user runs this particular layout on Project that DOESN'T
  have Single attributes at all, Single Attribute band WILL
  NOT appear in the pivot.
