Error description
A RYO client application issues a RESUME TPIPE request without any options (x'24') and receives DFS1269E error message with reason code = 3533.The '35' is associated with module DFSYMEM0 that issued the error and '33' is associated with the 'unable to create a QAB' reason code. Analysis indicated that the code that issues DFS1269E message added by ptm KA40207 is not needed. The code which issues the message in DFSYMEM0 will be removed.

The "DFS1269E SEVERE INTERNAL ERROR" was incorrectly issued to the customer.
Problem conclusion
AIDS: RIDS/DCS RIDS/CNTRL DCS CNTRL DEP: NONE GEN: *** END IMS KEYWORDS *** The "DFS1269E SEVERE INTERNAL ERROR, REASON CODE = 3533" message was originally added in OTMA to inform customers that IMS can not allocate the storage to create internal control blocks for a Resume Tpipe request. However, before OTMA issues this message, there will be another DFS1269 issued for running out of storage. We should not issue an additional MSGDFS1269E for the storage issue. The module DFSYMEM0 was enhanced to not issue the "DFS1269E SEVERE INTERNAL ERROR, REASON CODE = 3533" message for the Resume Tpipe requests. Search keywords: MSGDFS1269E & RSN3533
