A Non-IDM Error occurs when logging in using FileNet IDM Web Services

Troubleshooting


Problem

When logging in to IDM Web Services, users receive a Non-IDM error and the login fails. The Windows Event log shows The Web logon identity for this user and library was lost.

Symptom

    Logon failed.
    Number: 0x8004FEC8
    Native Code: 0x80040005
    Source: IDM exception
    <Non-IDM error.>
    Number: 0x80040005
    Native Code: 0x8000FFFF

The Windows Event log will contain:
    /LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT/IDMWS/global.asa Line 467 The Web logon identity for this user and library was lost.
