Error description

  • DB2 Connect server info disappears and reappears
    Option  G  DB2 CONNECT SERVER from the main screen.

    pf11 zoom on one of the tasks and that looks data is present

    When
    - local DB2 subsystems being monitored by PESERVER have no
      application running and therefore don't send any
      DB2CONNECTAPPLICATION data to PESERVER
    and
    - the values of the SHDB2CONNECTAPPLICATION and
      SHDB2CONNECTSYSTEM snapshot history intervals set for the
      PESERVER start-up parameters are not identical,
    then
    at the moment when only DB2CONNECTAPPLICATION data is being
    requested and fetched from the snapshot history, the youngest
    snapshot containing this data is not found.
    In this case the Applications Summary window permanently
    indicates "N/P" for a corresponding DB2 Connect Gateway
    and status of a corresponding DB2 Connect Server is indicated
    as "INACTIVE" or "N/P" in a corresponding windows/panels of
    Performance  Expert  Client/Classic Interface.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The PESERVER code has been corrected.
