Error description

  • DB2 Administration Tool used prior Catalog Copy version upon
re-entry into the tool when new DB2 subsystem is selected.
Results can be seen when using GEN option.
Within GEN reporting evidence can be seen that dialog variable
DB2ALOC still contained Catalog Copy DB2 subsystem name.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When switching between a catalog-copy   *
*                      Admin session and a non-catalog-copy    *
*                      session, incorrect results may occur    *
*                      due to the usage of a prior catalog     *
*                      copy session setting.                   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
The code was using a residual value from the prior session as
the DB2 location name (DB2ALOC) in a GEN invocation.
