Error description

  • Running IQCABAT0 the SLDS data set name and volume are obtained
from DBRC and stored in the generated JCL. The JCL generated
volume is sometimes wrong because after SMS restores the
data set, the volume is usually different after the SMS restore
of the data set. This causes the JCL to be incorrectly built
since it hasn't retrieved the correct (new) volume name from
    the system catalog.

    Additional Issue Addressed:
When " DSN=**** COMPRESSED DATA SET **** " is encountered
in a DSN (due to PRILOG compression removing unneeded
DSN entries), an information message will be issued.

The programs have been changed to not add the VOL=SER= info for
allocated logs, if the log data sets are catalogged.

Problem conclusion
