APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In iDz v14.0.0.3 When running menu Source > Identify Unreachable
code, the following error is displayed:
CRRZJ0005E An unexpected error was found while analyzing the
program for unreachable code.

When trace com.ibm.systemz.common.analysis=FINEST is set the
following stack can be found in log.

Problem summary

  • When running menu Source > Identify Unreachable code for a
program which contain dead codes that have copy books in it, the
 following is raised:
CRRZJ0005E An unexpected error was found while analyzing the
program for unreachable code.

Problem conclusion

  • When running menu Source > Identify Unreachable code for a
program which contain dead codes that have copy books in it, the
 dead codes are highlighted with a warning annotation next to
it.
