PI92341: TARGET TCP/IP SERVER JOB ABENDS IF TARGET CATALOG PREFETCH IS ENABLED FOR DB2 V11 IN CM MODE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If source Db2 subsystem is V10 or V11 CM, target catalog
  prefetch is enabled and REMOTE-CONNECT-TYPE is set to T,
  target server job ends with abend (0C4, 0C1, 0C6, etc).
  Source job ends with RC=8 and message
  "CKZ00080E Receive Data Error, RETCODE=X'FFFFFFFF, ERRNO=54"
  is issued.
  Other versions of Db2 are not affected by this issue
  

Local fix

• Use ENABLE-TARGET-PREFETCH(N) with REMOTE-CONNECT-TYPE(T),
  or use REMOTE-CONNECT-TYPE(D).
