* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SMP/E apply of PTF UI51740 causes       *
*                      issues with other PTFs because UI51740  *
*                      supersedes PTF UI51343 causing          *
*                      error IEW2456E.                         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
SMP/E apply of PTF UI51740 causes issues with other
PTFs because UI51740 supersedes PTF UI51343 which
contains a crucial update of JCLIN for ADBCVOB module.
Customers would see the following error:

IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL ADB0IX1 UNRESOLVED.
MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM THE
DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem has been resolved. This APAR delivers the
update required by PTF UI51343 that was omitted
due to UI51740 superseding UI51343.
