Error description
If the AIX or Linux archive installs are downloaded over HTTPS from Fix Central, many browsers will decompress them on the fly, leaving a file with extension .tar.gz that is no longer gzipped.

Problem conclusion
IHS archives for all platforms are now provided as zips instead of tar archives. This fix is targeted for IBM HTTP Server fix packs: - 9.0.0.7
Temporary fix
Change the extension of the IHS archive install from .tar.gz to .tar and untar it.
