Error description
Using a segment terminator of Carriage Return (CR) for inbound data (deenveloping) leads to a mixture of Carriage Return/Line Feeds pairs and Carriage Returns for split groups and transactions where where envelope headers/trailers are maintained.
Local fix
ITXARTC - RTC00061262 TR / TR Circumvention: None
Problem summary
When a terminator is set to be CR, the deenvelope process is adding CRLF's to the output.
Problem conclusion
Problem Conclusion: Outbound flows making consistent use of CRLF were fixed by RTC#61144. However, inbound cases for split documents (groups and transactions) were not fixed in cases where the envelope headers/trailers are maintained. Subsequently, this leads to a mixture of CR and CRLF when the segment terminator is CR. Fix all inbound code paths making consistent use of CRLF when CR is the segment terminator. Platforms Affected: Windows Customers Affected: Customers who process X12 data where the segment terminator is CR. Applies to: SPE.COMMON.9.0.0.7 and SPE.COMMON.9.0.0.8
