This led to memory consumption problems and exceptions during follow-on request processing.
Problem conclusion
The fix implements try-catch blocks in all relevant Faces portelt methods to insure FacesContext closure even under error conditions. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 8.0.0.15.
