PI87505: USING PRIMARY COMMAND GRANT ON PANEL ADB2AK MAY RESULT IN ERROR 'NOVALUE CONDITION RAISED FOR VARIABLE ADB530E'

Error description

• If, from the Admin Tool main menu, one selects option 1 (DB2
  System Catalog), AO (Authorization options) and then KA
  ('Package Authorizations'), one is presented with a list of
  packages on panel ADB2AK ('DSNB Package Authorization').  If
  one then uses the GRANT primary command to generate grant
  commands for all of the listed packages, one is then prompted,
  on panel ADB2RALL ('Grant'), to specify the grantee(s) for the
  grant commands.  After specifying the grantee(s) and hitting
  enter, one may encounter the following messages:
  
  Novalue condition raised for variable ADB530E

• Use the GRANT line command to execute the grants to individual
  packages.

  After issuing 'AO - Authorization options'
  and then 'KA - Package authorizations' from
  panel ADB21, the panel ADB2AK is displayed.
  Help panel ADBHAK indicates that the GRANT
  primary command is valid only when Grantee column
  values are all the same, and this is correct.
  Currently, however, issuing the GRANT primary
  command when the Grantee column values are not all
  the same results in the following error:
  
  Novalue condition raised for variable ADB530E

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved. After applying the
  fix, issuing the GRANT primary command when the
  Grantee column values are not all the same will
  result in the error message ADB530E 'The values
  in the Grantee column must all be the same'.
