Error description

  • In a CM BATCH IMPORT DDL scenario, where, for example, the DDL
contains DROP VIEW and CREATE VIEW statements (without any
GRANTs), the resulting Work Statement List (WSL) contains GRANT
VIEW statements which were valid for the dropped view, but not
for the recreated one. Because of the DROP VIEW statement,
none of the existing GRANTs should be generated for the
    recreate of the view.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When dropping a view and creating a *
    * view with the same name, GRANT *
    * statements for the authorizations *
    * of the dropped view are generated *
    * for the new one. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
When dropping a view and creating a view with the same
name, authorizations associated with the old view are not
cleaned up. As a result, GRANT statements for these
authorizations are incorrectly generated for the new view.
in the Work Statement List (WSL).
