**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of z/OS Connect EE V3 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR provides fixes for multiple * * problems. * **************************************************************** This APAR resolves the following problems in z/OS Connect EE V3: - A NullPointerException is reported in com.ibm.zosconnect.WVDataXformImpl.getJSONForBytes (WVDataXformImpl.java) - Build toolkit properties for the CICS service provider specifying empty values are not verified. This results in message: BAQB0007E: Error with property language. Reason: Unsupported Language and/or incomplete SARs - Using nameTruncation=right leads to error message: BAQB0007E: Error with property nameTruncation. Reason: Unsupported value - The interface rename functionality is not applied correctly for containers in a CICS Channel project - Required containers are not reflected in JSON schema - Schemas getRequestSchema and getResponseSchema are not returned when IMS service provider SARs are installed - The interactionTimeout and imsConnectTime behavior at V3 should be the same as the behavior at V2 - Containers not specified in the JSON schema are returned to the application - A missing responseSchema property is not correctly identified when using the build toolkit - The default IMS template results in messages CWWKG0011W and CWWKG0083W on start-up, because the default port number is not valid - "action=stop" for IMS service provider service results in an IMSGatewayException - The CICS channel feature is not enabled for CICS service provider local connections causing a NoClassDefFoundException when the local connection is initialized - A blank line in sample job BAQGETSJ prevents successful compilation - The template sampleCicsIpicCatalogManager does not contain valid SAR files - A SAR installed IMS service results in a NullPointerException when invoked - The IMS service provider does not use the maximum size of the data structure when OCCURS DEPENDING ON is present - Request and response structures generated by the build toolkit for CICS service provider are not saved
Problem conclusion
Applying the PTF for this APAR will change the reported z/OS Connect EE level to V3.0.0.1 as reported in the log: BAQR0000I: z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition version 3.0.0.1
