APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • ISPF UI should not check SERVER-IP of the Source DB2 subsystem
and never display the CKZ421E message in the CKZ1STSS panel. The
CKZ421E message should be displayed just during the generation
of the source JCL job when (DATA-MOVER PGM <> "SRCIMCPY") and
(LA-ENABLE = "YES") and (REMOTE-CONNECT-TYPE = "DDF" or
REMOTE-CONNECT-TYPE = "TCPIP").

Local fix

  • 1) Use CAF in the REMOTE-CONNECT-TYPE.
or
2) Specify SERVER-IP for the Source DB2 subsystem.
