This is because DB2 internally uses a halfword value of X-8000- (-32768) instead of zero, which is then propagated to the instrumentation records via field QWP4PAEF.
Problem conclusion
The code has been changed to display 0 for PARALLELISM EFFICIENCY if the QWP4PAEF value is equal to X'8000'. Search Keywords: RECTRACE SYSPARMS PARALLELISM EFFICIENCY PARA_EFF=0
