  • Online Area Extender (OAE) failed in temporary ADS allocation
when the ACS routine cannot determine storage class by DSN HLQ.
Online Area Extender should set the SMS information for
temporary ADS allocation.

OAE original expansion failed to DEFINE CLUSTER the temporary
ADS on the SMS-managed DASD when the ACS routine cannot
determine storage class by DSN HLQ.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • OAE original expansion has been modified to set the SMS
information, which are specified in STORCLAS,
MGMTCLAS, or DATACLASS keyword, in IDCAMS DEFINE CLUSTER
parameters for the temporary ADS.
