Error description

  • Total size of storage below 16 megabytes allocated by HPFPU
Hash Check support increases excessively as the number of DEDB
areas processed by HPFPU Hash Check support increases. This
occurs because HPFPU Hash Check support does not release the
storage for an area correctly after completing the processing
    for the area.

    ****************************************************************
HPFPU Hash Check support loads the DEDB DBD to be processed.
However, HPFPU Hash Check support does not release the storage
for the DBD correctly after completing the processing for the
    DBD.
Therefore, total size of storage below 16 megabytes allocated by
HPFPU Hash Check support increases excessively as the number of
DEDBs processed by HPFPU Hash Check support increases.

This problem occurs both HPFPU Hash Check support for IMS HP
Image Copy and HPFPU Hash Check support for IMS Database
    Recovery Facility.

Problem conclusion

  • HPFPU Hash Check support has been modified to release storage
for the DBD correctly after completing the processing for the
    DBD.
