Question

We are encountering error MQ0002 with reason MQRC_Q_MGR_NOT_AVAILABLE when using WDI Adapter on Websphere MQ 5.3.1 with Windows 2000 platform. What is producing this error?

Cause

Message: MQ0002 Severity: 08
Error attempting to connect to MQSeries queue manager , MQSeries reason code = 2059, explanation = MQRC_Q_MGR_NOT_AVAILABLE

FF0141 Communication detected error receiving file, mailbox (requestor) id = EDI.HVST, return code = 8 extended return code = 1029.

An incorrect Queue Manager Name was used in the MQSeries Queues Profile definition in setup.

Answer

Using WDI Client, click on "Setup" button, click on "MQSeries Queues" tab, then double-click the appropriate queue name, in this case, EDI.HVST. Enter the correct Queue Manager Name and save the profile.
